Really turning customers to champions

Dan, congrats and thanks on a great Mommy Blog presentation at HMSS.  Good to hear how this works and lessons learned.  Kudos to Tufts Medical Center and Signature Health for sharing their successes with us all.

Hi Linda, that's weird. I've used that to invite people in the past, and I'm sure they were business addresses. I'll take a look. Thanks for the heads up! I hope you are doing well.

Hi Linda,

Good question. Really, I see two opportunities. The first is to improve a given hospital's ranking with search engines by using this strategy. Combining an article marketing program with other online tactics (blogging, for example) will significantly improve search engine ranking. The second opportunity is for improving the stature of the hospital's brand by positioning its leaders as thought leaders in the field and as expert sources for the media. This takes time and the impact will not be as dramatic. But it is definitely a good thing and goes hand-in-hand with speaking at conferences, publishing and other tactics that increase the stature of your organization.
Take care (I hope to call you later this week!)

Hi Linda,

Welcome to the online community! I'll send you those presentations on Tuesday when I'm back in the office. I tried sending one on Thursday but it got kicked back from your server - the message said the file was too large. Tomorrow I'll save them as smaller PDFs and email them to you! Take care. It was great seeing you in Las Vegas.

Dan
